Imperial Oil on Board for Another 5 Years
Great news for Ringette Calgary - Imperial Oil has committed to continue their partnership by sponsoring the ESSO GOLDEN RING through 2015.
The 2011 tournament will be the 25th Anniversary and we are seeking new committee members to help run this huge event.

Alberta Challenge Cup
This is
the first in a series of Pre Canada Winter Games Tournaments. The best U 20 players from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and
Nova Scotia will be competing at the Don Hartman Sportsplex in Calgary for the
Alberta Challenge Cup.
As an extra bonus Team USA will play in the round
robin in preparation for the upcoming World Ringette Championships in
Tampere Finland this November.
Games start Friday Sept 24th and continue through Sunday afternoon.
This is one of the few opportunities to see AAA Ringette in Alberta. Come
as a team and use this opportunity to do some bonding and see some of the
best Ringette in the country.

Post Secondary Ringette in Calgary
There is exciting news for the 2010/2011 upcoming ringette season for players attending a post-secondary school in
Calgary. Mount Royal University will be fielding a team for the first time. They will be joining the University of Calgary, which has had a team for
the past seven seasons. The teams will compete in the the CORA Open A
division in Alberta and will attend at the University Challenge Cup, which for the last two years has been held in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

CWG Selections
The following are the list of Calgary players that made the group of 30 traveling to Ottawa for LeRelève May 20-24. LeRelève is a National CWG Training Camp and Tournament. The 30 players selected will train and compete at the tournament in hopes of making Team Alberta’s CWG Team. They are part of the top 30 players in the province.

There will be 15 RATH games in and around Calgary this season. A season pass may be purchased by completing this form and emailing it to Noel Cronin.

U12 (currently Petite) – born 1998, 1999

U19 (currently Belle) – born 1991, 1992, 1993
+18 (currently Belle/Open) – born 1991 or earlier

Don Henderson Memorial Ringette Scholarship
The Don Henderson Memorial Ringette Scholarship was awarded to Justine Williamsfor the 2010/11 Academic year.

The National Ringette League (NRL) is the showcase league for Ringette in Canada.
